Mona Elder \ by \

Mona joined GLEWC in September of 2019. You may find her at the front reception desk or assisting the doctors with their equine patients. She has been a lifelong horse lover and owner; always making an effort to be involved with horses in her personal life and is looking forward to making them a part of her career also. She states that her motto has always been; “I enjoy helping people through their pets” which will still be her mission here at GLEWC. Previously, her working career has centered on dogs; working in several small animal veterinary clinics, owning and managing her own dog training business, and working at Service Dog Organizations in Minnesota and California where she trained service dogs and their partners with various disabilities including diabetes, seizures, mobility issues, hearing loss and children with autism. When not working, Mona enjoys spending time with her family in Wisconsin and her dog, “Quest”, her bunny, “Sadie” and Quarter Horse, “Kitty”.
