Meet Haley Stietz
DVM
Dr. Haley’s roots stem from a small town in Delaware. She attained her Veterinary Degree at St. George’s University in Grenada within the West Indies. She completed her fourth year clinicals at Texas A&M University where she graduated in 2022. She then completed her internship at the Waller Equine Hospital in Waller, Texas.
Dr. Haley's medical interests include emergency medicine, particularly in the colic aspect. An interesting fact about Dr. Haley is she was struck by lightning at a zoo she was working at back in 2013. She had 4 cardiac arrests, 3 days in a coma, and had bitten through her lip. At this time, she had to relearn to walk and talk, but has fully recovered since this time.
In her spare time, she enjoys completing puzzles, camping, canoeing, and relaxing with her 3 cats (Rory, Morpheus, and Diamond). Dr. Haley and her husband also enjoy spending time riding their two horses together and hiking with their dog!
